Consulting Partners - Manufacturing/Retail/Telecoms/Public Sector/Utilities
Job Summary
The Consulting Partner will be a key, senior member of the Consulting team. The Consulting Partner will be assigned to a single large client, focused on building a strategic partnership and managing consulting delivery, growth and operations for the client account. The Consulting Partner is expected to identify and qualify new opportunities in the client account to meet revenue demands and ensure that budgets, profitability and timelines for client projects are achieved.
As an experienced, senior member of the team, the Consulting Partner will share ownership and accountability for the successful execution of engagements together with project managers and client teams. This includes consistent oversight of performance and deliverables and recognition of risks to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Oversee project performance and deliverables and ensure high levels of client satisfaction during delivery
Develop client account strategy together with account teams
Develop and enhance long term relationships with senior level executives across the client business
Manage expectations and alignment between client teams and stakeholders
Facilitate client meetings and communicate client activities and issues
Play advisory role to Client Relationship Managers and Program Managers on assigned account
Monitor budget, profitability and timelines of client projects
Ensure prompt billing and budget compliance
Proactively seek new opportunities in the assigned account
Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets

Qualifications
12+ years of professional experience in a top consulting organization (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz-Allen Hamilton, Big 4 consulting firm, top-tier systems integrator) is required.
Proven ability to launch and execute successful initiatives in complex and challenging environments.
Powerful verbal / written / presentation / facilitation / communication / relationship building / social networking skills
Experience motivating and leading large, multi cultural, cross functional teams
Experience facilitating high level client meetings and managing a robust portfolio of client projects
Ability to understand a client’s business organization, as well industry and segment trends
Industry domain depth
Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
Willingness to be onsite at a client location and able to travel extensively to support the needs of the business
Excellent client presence and proven client relationship building capability; willing to provide senior / top level client references
Experience as an effective driver of sales activities - proposals, etc.; Proven ability to sell consulting outside of the IT organization
Experience with global delivery
Depth to support practice methodology, growth and mentor affiliated team members
Excellent academic credentials from top tier programs - B.A. / B.S required, MBA strongly preferred
Location / Travel:
Extensive travel (domestic and / or international) may be required; relocation to a client location may be required
Locations: UK/European based positions.
