A global IT services company with a major Oil & Gas account require an experienced Business Consultant to deliver Consulting services.
Position Lead Managing Consultant – Oil and Gas
Location UK based but with Europe (and possibly US) travel as and when required
Job Description
You are a recognised authority on all aspects of the oil and gas industry, with a deep understanding of the challenges facing corporations in this sector. In addition to this, you also have an excellent understanding of the IT systems environment supporting the oil and gas industry.
You have an enviable track record of winning business and developing relationships with the major institutions across Europe and have successfully delivered major change initiatives in these leading institutions.
You are experienced at communicating with and managing CxO level stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
• Advising on strategy and operations within clients
• Developing service opportunities within client business
• Managing client engagements including oversight of business transformation activities
• Overseeing large-scale & strategic projects
• Functioning as key member of account management team
• Leveraging strategic partnerships
Industry & Domain
Experience Essential
• Relevant domain and practitioner experience:
o Oil and Gas experience: 15+ years
o Consulting experience: 10+ years
• Employment at a tier-1 or tier-2 consulting organization
• Oil and Gas business knowledge
• Oil and Gas IT environment systems knowledge
• Large scale project rollout
Very advantageous
• Oil and Gas operational management experience
• Global Delivery Model implementation
• Experience of large scale outsourcing & off shoring
• Organisational Change Management
• Business Process Improvement
Qualifications Essential
• Good quality degree from a reputable institution

• IMC certification or similar
