We are looking for a Technical Architect to join one of our client teams:

– Senior technical architect with 10+ years experience across large, complex
enterprises.

– Specific experience of work in the Public Sector and aligning to
Government Digital Service standards.

– Experience acting as a workstream lead within a matrixed Agile Delivery
organisation.

– Experience designing/developing data-intensive applications, data
integration, big data architectures, understanding business drivers, risk
management, feasibility and value.

– Significant experience of designing and developing complex solutions
provisioned in AWS cloud, including: S3 datalake, Lambda, Kinesis, Glue,
EMR, Redshift, Snowflake.

– Experience of designing infrastructure to support opensource tools
including: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Flink, Kafka.

– Experience of designing the technology architecture to support advanced
analytic services, including AWS Sagemaker, Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau
reporting, PowerBI, Qlik Sense, Posit. R, Python.

– Experience designing data services using frameworks: GraphQL, FastAPI,
Django REST.

– Experience of designing the security controls needed to process and store
sensitive personal heath data, adopting NCSC guidance and complying with
data privacy regulations like GDPR.

– Will have a technology background including software development and a
detailed understanding of DevOps practices.

– Experience working within agile teams using collaboration tools like
Confluence/Jira.

– Turning business problems into data design. Design data architectures by
dealing with specific business problems and aligning it to enterprise-wide
standards and principles. Work within the context of well understood
architecture and can identify and govern against appropriate patterns.

– Data Platforms Change and Migration – skilled at identifying and analysing
the impact of change across our complex data estate, and understanding the
complexities of migrating, retiring and introducing new data platforms and
data flows.

– Data Management: understand the concepts and ways of delivering
cloud-based data management capabilities such as data quality, metadata,
data catalogues, lineage etc and have an in depth understanding of one or
more tool sets.

– Team working and collaboration: lead and work successfully with technical
teams, senior leadership, enterprise architecture and data architecture
specialists at an appropriate level.

– Modern cloud data and analytics platforms – strong experience of planning,
analysing, designing and documenting the implementation of modern cloud data
and analytics platforms at a large scale. Provide technical leadership and
attend to both the big picture and the detail and produce high quality
design documentation. Work simultaneously on multiple work streams.

– Data Communication skills: effectively translate requirements and
accurately communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders as
well as facilitate discussions within a multidisciplinary team, with
potentially difficult dynamics. Advocate for the team externally and can
manage differing perspectives. Skilled at presenting to architecture boards
and governance teams.

– Data governance: understand what data governance, privacy and security
requirements are required and how to ensure them. Responsibility for the
assurance of data solutions and make recommendations to ensure compliance
